The girl is a failed ballerina, another man, a comrade in misfortune, notices her beauty. The second girl is a bullfighter, a woman of incredible temperament, ugly, thin, slim, but living with that, men probably die of happiness.

This director is inclined to love everyone, especially women. His characters have incredible orientations, some even change the sex, in my opinion, even back and forth. The plots are almost fantastic, these are melodramas of the thickest batch. This film is quite real, almost no fiction. To the viewer did not seem boring to sit in two beds, Almodovar inserts two wonderful "stories". One is the dance art of Tina Bausch. Modern choreography on the verge of dramatic art, probably so. However, Tina Bausch and her optimistic heroes go through the whole film.
