Initially, I was sure that the Guardians of the Galaxy was another Marvel gum, which, after watching in the cinema, I would not even want to revise. In general, I am wary when I hear that the film was made in a comic book. But this time everything went wrong, as I expected.
The film begins with an unexpectedly sad note and for half an hour - an hour I watched it like a normal entertaining frivolous movie. But at the second hour I paid attention to this. In most superhero films, the main acting character rescues everyone alone. Sometimes someone helps him, but more often he acts independently. But in the “Guardians of the Galaxy” everything is a little different: no one initially is going to save anyone, the main characters (except for the raccoon and the tree) existed every man for himself and were busy each with their own problems. In essence, they were united by the fact that, being normal sane people (and other creatures), they, faced with grief, began to engage in not the most honest things, such as theft and murder. And only friendship and the realization that you are not alone can help them to improve and reject evil. This is not new, but, in my opinion, the salt of the film is in this. Not in talking raccoons and wits, but in friendship and cohesion. As sung in the song:
That I snow, that I heat,
That I'm pouring rain,
When my friends are with me!
I think comrade conspiracy therapists would say that a film calling for solidarity is directed against some enemy, and once the film is American, it means that it is directed against Russia. I do not recommend trusting this thought, but I also do not recommend it to be forgotten (you never know what). No matter what, the picture is still great! This is really the best Marvel film I've ever seen! Very kind (despite some circumstances of the characters), funny and with the right meaning. This is not the second “Captain America” where preschool children serve in the KGB!
The special effects are great, the scale is impressive. Even an abundant amount of “jumping-hopping” (action) and destruction does not tire you with monotony, as often happens in other tapes. Everything looks in one breath, but at the same time there is no feeling of excessive transience of the narration.
The soundtrack in the film is truly gorgeous. This applies both to music selections from the last century, and to the original soundtrack, written by Tyler Bates, which is well remembered, and which I have already heard several times separately after viewing.
It is worth noting that the film is partially shot under the IMAX-screen. If there is a nearby similar - run for the ticket. The sound, by the way, is also on top. Dubbing is good, despite the fact that you can not vouch for the correctness of the translation.
By the way, drew attention to the absence of some scenes from the trailer. For example, when all the "guards" stand in a row behind the glass. Perhaps, of course, it was filmed separately for advertising, but I will hope to see someday an extended version of the tape, if it exists.
I will not sum up any results, I’ll just say once again that this is the first Marvel film that I LOVED very much.
