From about the end of the 70s of the last century to the mid-80s several people represented the glorious comedy, namely, Bill Murray, Dan Aykroyd, Rick Moranis and John Candy. They were not only actors, but also successful producers, some tried their hand at directing and screenwriting. And it is they who can express our amicable gratitude for this pleasant film from all sides, which still looks with interest, despite the fact that its visual effects now seem commonplace after computer technologies have gone a long way, but it is in its nostalgic component the whole principle of revision of the Ghostbusters, who gave many happy minutes and not only the children's audience, fascinated looking at the battle with hordes of ghosts, but also adults, because "Ghostbusters" is, Ust and pure entertainment, but entertainment is fascinating!
As you can read from the facts of the history of the creation of “Ghostbusters”, this film could come out much later, and could even be out of work on the set at all, but still the then 38-year-old director Ivan Reitman was in the Kremlin chief director and took his best picture in 1984. In general, “Ghostbusters” look like a blatant gamble: adult men rush around the city with blasters and trap pretty gnawing ghosts. Well, who would have believed in the seriousness of the Ramis-Aykroyd-Moranis trio that they decided not to mock the viewer with children's fantasy, but to show not without a sense of humor and good (for those times) visual effects? With such a scenario, many would have been ridiculed, but our trio is not that, and having worked with comedian Bill Murray, they made everyone understand that Ghostbusters is not at all a paranormal satire, a very entertaining movie that has become a classic.
It must be said that for the mined success with the public, every effort was made in acting. Bill Murray, Dan Aykroyd and Harold Ramis (it is a pity that this talented man left us not so long ago, who gave us good tapes and as a director) represent the original Ghostbusters team. All of them are doctors of science, but they decided to fight what no one at the professional level did not fight - with all kinds of ghosts there. Each of the actors created a certain character with their own individual traits and at the same time they looked like a real harmonious team, that they transfered their friendship in life to the screen, and even so cleverly played their roles, that on their basis a animated series appeared, and childhood, I watched it with ecstasy and admiration. A bit later the hero Ernie Hudson will join the “Hunters”. He also will not miss the multipliers, giving him an important to become in the series, although here in the picture, he will more be a minor character. But this can also be attributed to the fact that they could not overlook the non-static Rick Moranis, this amusing little stunted comedian, and even Sigourney Weaver herself agreed to play with this honest company, and everyone knew her as a killer of alien creatures.
Though the film began as a comedy, but then, going into the mainstream of this kind of fiction mixed with mysticism, you do not notice this transition, so everything is smoothly created in Ghostbusters. Some personalities change their appearance almost beyond recognition. And all the actors who were affected by this, managed to brilliantly alter their images. Bill Murray can laugh when he even walks with a stony face (remember at least “Groundhog Day”), but suddenly he becomes so serious that it is impossible not to believe that his hero is actually fighting the impending disaster over the city, and our world as a whole. Until now, the energy rays from the Hunters blasters seem to be perfectly traced and processed by possible computer technologies at that time. By the way, what was expected of the viewer is indirectly shown by the hero of Ramis, who believes in the wonders of technology and stably controls the computer. Well, the final large-scale action captivates the spirit, despite the comic image, it still looks very, very impressive. What is this action? You have not seen the classics of fantastic mysticism with elements of the comedy "Ghostbusters"? Be sure to look.
The painting by Ivan Wrightman really evokes strong nostalgic feelings. The team of actors consisting of wonderful comedians, although it caused a certain amount of negative criticism, is nevertheless worthy of great praise, because their composition could be worthy of the nomination “The Best Screen Team”, and the special effects at that time were perfectly performed.
